The official free PC demo is listed on Steam. Use the official store page to install it through Steam; this site does not host game files.

What does the demo include?
Steam describes the Prologue and part of Episode 1, introducing the story and the basics of puzzles, crafting and combat. It is a pre-release build, so its behavior need not match the retail game.
Does demo progress carry over?
No. The official description says demo progress will not carry into the full game. Plan to start again if you buy the retail version.
How much storage does it list?
The demo lists 50 GB available space and recommends an SSD. The full game lists 80 GB; do not use the demo figure for the retail installation.
Before installing
Review the requirements, mature-content description and supported languages on Steam. Check the current store page for availability in your region; we have not verified a console demo.
