Hellraiser: Revival Beginner Guide — Saves, Spoilers & Progress
Before your first run, choose how much help you want and set up a record you can keep. This guide covers preparation, not unverified combat tactics.
1. Decide whether to try the demo
The official Steam demo includes the Prologue and part of Episode 1. Its progress does not transfer to the full game. Use the demo guide for the official download and storage details, or check full-game platforms and PC requirements.
2. Preserve useful saves
PowerPyx’s launch PS5 roadmap reports eight manual save slots and two rotating autosaves, with no chapter select or post-story free roam. Preserve different checkpoints before major transitions rather than assuming you can return later. This is a dated PS5 guide report, not a verified promise for every platform or patch.
3. Match the room before opening an answer
Our puzzle index describes the location without revealing combinations. Choose the matching cabinet, open a small nudge, then the clue. Reveal the answer only when you want it. A painting clue in the early hallway and the Great Fire clue in the mansion belong to different locks.
4. Track acquisition and crafting separately
Finding a recipe does not mean you have made its item. The collectibles checklist records ownership; the crafting tracker also records whether you crafted once. Both share the same recipe record on this device, across languages.
5. Back up your checklist
Use Export progress before clearing browser data or changing devices. Import the JSON backup on your other device to merge the record. This saves checklist entries only; it cannot restore your actual game save.
